With the YU Yuphoria going live yesterday, there have been plenty of comparisons drawn by the customers. After all, this new handset was venturing into the highly popular budget segment, which is dominated by the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo and Motorola.
Keeping that in mind, it’s only fair that we compare all the competitive offerings available in the market that could give the YU Yuphoria a run for its money.

As we can clearly see from the specifications chart, the competition for the YU Yuphoria is pretty stiff in the crowded Indian market segment. However, considering that it features a better front camera and software support from the pros at Cyanogen, we think this is an excellent device for the price and will strike a chord with the consumers in the region.
The YU Yuphoria will be available exclusively through Amazon India, with registrations going live yesterday for the first flash sale which is to be held on May 28.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus is an exclusive to Flipkart and will also require prior registration. The sale is held every Tuesday at 2PM and you can register right away.
The Xiaomi Redmi 2 on the other hand is available through multiple e-commerce retailers in the country with no exclusivity to one retailer. Amazon, Flipkart and Snapdeal have the device on offer with no registration required. This is one area where the Xiaomi offering has a distinct advantage over the other two handsets.
